Heat Gun Versus Vibration Table
| Heat Gun Disadvantages | Vibration Table Advantages |
| Increases chances of surface bubbles | Reduces Surface Bubbles |
| Fails to draw bubbles to the surface | Brings bubbles up to the surface |
| Heat gun can over-heat the resin | No overheating of the resin |
| Very limited effectiveness | Highly effective to remove bubbles |
| Works ok after pouring - Bubble removal | Great before pouring resin |
| Disadvantages without Vibration | Advantages with Vibration |
| Bubbles stay trapped in the resin | Removes bubbles for a clear resin |
| More pinholes after sanding | Eliminates the majoritory of pinholes |
| White spots from dust in pinholes | Greatly reduces dust spots - Less stress |
| More possible surface defects | Professional looking surface |
