About Northland Resin
Kia ora Friends & Whanau
My name is Lyn Meyer of Mangamuka Aotearoa. I am a farmer, woodturner, and a passionate resin artist who knows how hard it can be for our Whakapapa in this changing

landscape to learn new skills, and to have the know-how and ability to incorporate the old ways with the latest to craft a better future—together, celebrating and incorporating traditional Maori carving skills that many have with new mediums that will target modern art with our own inspirational ideas and concepts.
With this in mind, I have decided to promote and sell the industry's leading brands, which are not only trusted but also my go-to products for achieving the best results. These products are top of the line, including PassionArt, Resinzwood, and Colour Passion. We will have a budget range of epoxy resins for muck-around experiments, as well as pieces in solid colours where UV additives are not of high importance.
Tāku moemoeā in mind, I have recently started teaching our tamariki Resin Art at Broadwood School. Incorporating timbers Native to Aotearoa with the best resin products I use and have sourced from New Zealand's Resinzwood, which aims to co-sponsor my quest moving forward. I strive to bring the opportunity to engage in modern art crafting with native timbers and resin to other schools across Aotearoa, while keeping all our Whakapapa in harmony as we connect our people's ancestors, land, and cosmos. My vision is to have other talented carvers and artists come on board, growing the next generation with a sense of fulfilment.
If we want to co-sponsor an event or term at a school, then please get in touch with me.
